Does patriotism mean plugging a hole with darkness? Is subverting the people's mandate democracy?

When we point at the arrogance, incompetence, and blunders of those in power, we get accused of treason.

Yet on the country's real problems, there is silence…

When we question the surrender of the nation to America and China, we face an iron fist.

When people's questions point out your enormous lies, you respond with fierce intolerance…

To save your face, you point at Pakistan for everything, and stoke hatred of Muslims. Lately, Bangladesh too…

Is patriotism a matter of plugging a hole with darkness?

Have you ever shown evidence and named the culprits to say who really carried out Pahalgam and Pulwama?

No.

You won't say.

Instead, you have convenient scapegoats to point at for anything and everything: Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Muslims, right in front of you.

Is subverting the people's mandate democracy?

The country is not the private property of any party or leader.

The country's courts and constitutional institutions are not for buying with a price, nor for subjugating through intimidation.

The country belongs to the people, to each and every citizen.

No country has the authority to choose its people.

It is the people who make the country and choose it.

Rulers of a country have no authority to choose the people either.

Rather, it is the people who choose the rulers.

Governance is a responsibility, a job, given by the people.

The power given to you for that job is not for punishing the very people who assigned it.

Therefore, when you are negligent in your duty, when you tell lies, when you cover lies with hundreds of thousands more lies, the people will question you.

When people question, what is needed is an answer, not irritation at the questions. What is needed is not branding the people as traitors.

You, the BJP, the RSS and their affiliates, who have seized every kind of foreign and domestic funds…

You, who now hold and wield power only with the support of an entire web of lies…

You, who do whatever you please with those foreign and domestic funds and revel in it:

When you have no answer to the questions put to you, you should not level foreign-funding accusations against the people.

Look at yourselves.

See yourselves.

Then you, and your poor followers who blindly follow you, will understand where the foreign funding and treason you accuse others of really lie.

That foreign funding and treason are piled up only in you.
