READING A BOOK, NOT TO KNOW OR SEEK TRUTH OR GOD IN ITS LIGHT.

Still it is really worrying

You read a book,

Not to know anything from it

And not to seek truth or God

In its light.

But only for reward.

You become more material and selfish

To open an extension counter

To your selfish motives

Through reading a book too.

Real pity.

You pray and praise God.

Not because you know him.

Not because you seek him.

Not because you want to praise him

With the conviction you have.

But only for the rewards, promised,

With only those names, words and attributes

Others put in your mouth.

Just to open an extension counter

To your selfishness,

Even in your after life.

Real pity.

You fast and make pilgrimages.

Not because you seek or you want to seek.

Not because you want to sacrifice

For your seeking of absolute.

But just because you are ordered

And for the rewards promised

To satisfying your  physical selfishness

And to open an extension- counter

To that your selfishness in so-called paradise.

Real pity.

Don’t you know, my son

You will reach nowhere,

If you still want to open up an extension counter

To your selfishness and its desire?

That will deny and cover you away

From the sight of  God and truth

God is there with you in your selflessness

All your selfish motives and earnings

Are required therein as the fuel to burn

In your path of seeking God and truth

Or meaning and aim of life.

When you are in and with your path

Automatically you will have to exhaust the fuel

Before you reach the destination.

There you will never have an extension counters to it

But shut down all what you have had already.

What all you have dug for

Will be the well that will quench you further.
