The soul of all prayers is killed: When it is ......

The soul of any prayer is killed:

When it is ordained to be done

Than letting it happen by its own.

When its time and place is decided by others

Than letting it happen anywhere, any time.

When it is done, for no choice, as per the order,

Than causing it to flow the way it will, spontaneously

When it is done, under compulsion, imitating and emulating forefathers

Than letting one sprout with his prayers the way he does by his own.

When it is asked to be done in the group and with the group

Than letting each one do the way he wants by his own.

Water that is above the fire and really boiling

Needs no order and model to boil and send the vapors up.

The vapors of prayer will go automatically up, the way it will go,
When it is really hot and boiling, by its won.
With no pretensions and formalities.

And the water that is really cold and frozen,
Unless it is heated up, will never be hot and boiling.

And hence, will never be sending the vapors up
Even if thousands of orders and models are given to it.
