I don’t know whether you remember me at all, for any reason.

Memories are creations of convenience
That life, in your or any other form,
Makes for its comfort and smooth flow.

So, now, trying to know each other close from far away,
When we are not together as mates
Through the unknown and forgotten memories.

Heard you are in here, strangely.
I too am here in for the last long period.
As a stranger wayfarer.

A wayfarer is a wayfarer's friend.

Strangers have all rights and chances to be friends each other
Especially when they are on strange paths of knowing unknown.

So, requesting you to be in touch.

It may happen, if it happens. That is all.

For what could be the delay to act, to contact and reach you?

"For bad" or "for good".

But, that is a general say.

There is no good and bad.

Both are for both.

At the end or in continuity,
Bad and good stand for each other
And evolve to be the other.

So is the life, this universality and its continuity.

In progression or regression,
Making both the same.

But, even when all the above is said,
It is and was big miss.

For sure, it is and was a big loss not to have met you from here,
Or even could not contact each other,
Even when we were here in this strange land as strangers, wayfaring
With sand storms and unbearable heavy sun.

There comes in the philosophy of helplessness to say
'It is never a must for strangers to meet each other
In their strange wayfaring paths.

It may happen, if it happens.
That is all.'

ഈ മഹാഭാരതത്തില്‍, വിശിഷ്യാ കേരളത്തിലും, അധികാരത്തിനു അധികാരമെന്ന അർത്ഥമേയുള്ളൂ. നാട്ടിനോടുള്ള സ്നേഹമെന്നോ, ഭരിക്കാനുള്ള കഴിവെന്നോ, സേവന തല്പരതയെന്നോ, ബുദ്ധിപരമായ യോഗ്യതയെന്നോ, ഉത്തരവാദിത്ത ബോധാമെന്നോ, നിയമത്തിനോടും സമൂഹത്തിനോടും മറുപടി പറയേണ്ട ജോലിയെന്നോ അര്‍ത്ഥമില്ല. 

അധികാരിയാവാനുള്ള യോഗ്യത അധികാര മോഹം മാത്രം. അത് നേടാന്‍ വേണ്ടത് എന്തും, യാതൊരുവിധ നീതിശാസ്ത്രതിനും വിധേയമല്ലാത്ത രൂപത്തില്‍ ചെയ്യാന്‍ സാധിക്കുകയെന്നത്.

അങ്ങിനെയൊക്കെ തന്നെയാണ് കാര്യങ്ങള്‍ നമുക്കിടയില്‍ സംഭവിക്കുന്നത്‌ എന്ന് തെളിയിച്ചു തരാനും മനസ്സിലാക്കിത്തരാനും തന്നെയാണ് കാലം ഒരേ ദിവസവും ഒരേ കാരണവും തന്നെ കുഞ്ഞാലിക്കുട്ടിക്ക് അധികാരത്തില്‍ കയറാനും സ്ട്രൌസ്-കാന് അധികാരത്തില്‍ നിന്ന് താഴെ ഇറങ്ങാനും തടവിലിടപ്പെടാനും നിശ്ചയിച്ചത്. പരസ്പരം ബന്ധപ്പെട്ടു നിൽക്കുന്നവര്‍ എന്നത് കൊണ്ടല്ല. പകരം സംഗതികള്‍ക്കിടയിലെ എന്തോ ഒരു പരസ്പരവിരുദ്ധ ബന്ധം കാണിച്ചു തരാന്‍. ഒരുതരം വിപരീതബോധം തുറന്നുകാട്ടാന്‍.

കുഞ്ഞാലിക്കുട്ടി അധികാരത്തിലെത്താന്‍ കാരണമായത്‌ പോലുള്ള അതേ ആരോപണങ്ങളില്‍ കെണിഞ്ഞു, പക്ഷെ മാനഹാനിയും സ്ഥാനത്യാഗവും നേരിട്ട മറ്റനേകം പേരുണ്ട്. അതില്‍ പ്രധാനിയാണ്‌ മുന്‍ ന്യൂയോര്‍ക്ക്‌ ഗവര്‍ണര്‍. അദ്ദേഹത്തിനു ഗവര്‍ണര്‍ പദവിയും അമേരിക്കന്‍ പ്രസിഡണ്ട്‌ മോഹവും ഉപേക്ഷിക്കേണ്ടി വന്നു. മറ്റൊരു വനപുള്ളിയായ ബില്‍ ക്ളിന്ടന് തന്റെ കൊമ്പ് വല്ലാതെ കുലുക്കേണ്ടി വന്നു. പക്ഷെ അതൊന്നും പാരിന്‍ നടുവിലെ ഒരു പിടിമണ്ണ് മാത്രമല്ലാത്ത ഭാരത ഭൂമിയിലോ, പേര് കേട്ടാല്‍ നരംബുകളില്‍ രക്തം തുടിക്കേണ്ട കേരളത്തിലോ അല്ല.

ഒരേയൊരു വ്യത്യാസം മാത്രം. അവെരെല്ലാവരും പ്രായപൂർത്തിയായ സ്ത്രീകളെയും കുഞ്ഞാലിക്കുട്ടി പ്രായപൂര്‍ത്തി ആവാത്ത പെണ്‍കുട്ടിയേയും ആയിരുന്നു കയ്കാര്യം ചെയ്തത്. 

കുഞ്ഞാലിക്കുട്ടി മതത്തെയും ധാര്‍മികതയെയും, അതിലധിഷ്ടിതമായി ജീവിക്കേണ്ട, ജീവിക്കുന്നുവെന്ന് അവകാശപ്പെടുന്ന ഒരു സമൂഹത്തെയും, സ്വന്തത്തെ ന്യായീകരിക്കാനും രക്ഷിച്ചെടുക്കാനും ഉപയോഗിച്ചു. മറ്റുള്ളവര്‍ മതത്തെയോ ധാര്‍മികതയെയോ അതിലധിഷ്ടിതമായി ജീവിക്കേണ്ട, ജീവിക്കുന്നുവെന്ന് അവകാശപ്പെടുന്ന ഒരു സമൂഹത്തെയോ തങ്ങളെ ന്യായീകരിക്കാനും രക്ഷിച്ചെടുക്കാനും ഉപയോഗിച്ചില്ല.

സംഗതി രണ്ടും രണ്ടാണ്. 

കേരളം ഐ എം എഫ് അല്ല. 

കുഞ്ഞാലിക്കുട്ടി സ്ട്രൌസ്-കാനോളവും വരില്ല. 

സ്ട്രൌസ്-കാനു ‍കുഞ്ഞാലിക്കുട്ടിയുടെയോ ഐ എം എഫിന് കേരളത്തിന്റെയോ വലുപ്പം ഉണ്ടോ എന്നറിയാന്‍ ഏതു അളവ്കോല് വെച്ച് നോക്കണമെന്നും അറിയില്ല.

കുഞ്ഞാലിക്കുട്ടി ജീവിക്കുന്നതും പ്രതിനിധാനം ചെയ്യുന്നതും സ്ട്രൌസ്-കാന്‍ ജീവിച്ചതില്‍ നിന്നും പ്രതിനിധാനം ചെയ്തതില്‍ നിന്നും തീര്‍ത്തും വ്യത്യസ്തമായ സമൂഹവും വ്യവസ്ഥിതിയും എന്നത് സ്ട്രൌസ്-കാന്‍ ചെയ്തതിനേക്കാള്‍ എത്രയോ വലുതാണ്‌ കുഞ്ഞാലിക്കുട്ടി ചെയ്തത് എന്ന് മനസ്സിലാക്കിത്തരാന്‍ ആയിരുന്നു നമ്മള്‍ക്ക് ഉപയോഗപ്പെടെണ്ടിയിരുന്നത്. 

അങ്ങിനെ വലുതായിരുന്നു എന്നറിയാന്‍ പുറമേ നിന്ന് കൊണ്ടുവരേണ്ട ഒരളവ് കോലീന്റെയും ആവശ്യവുമില്ല നമുക്ക്.

എന്നിരുന്നാലും ഇങ്ങിവിടെ കുഞ്ഞാലിക്കുട്ടി അധികാരത്തില്‍. അങ്ങവിടെ സ്സ്ട്രോസ് -കാൻ അധികാരത്തില്‍ നിന്ന് താഴെ. 

കേരളത്തിലെ ജനകീയ കോടതിയുടെ ഒരു വല്ലാത്ത വെളിപാട്. നീതിന്യായ കോടതികളുടെ ഒരു വല്ലാത്ത വെളിവില്ലായ്മ... 

പകല്‍ വെളിച്ചം പോലും പകല്‍ വെളിച്ചമാണെന്ന് നമുക്ക് തെളിയിച്ചെടുക്കാനാവില്ല. 

അത്തരം ഒന്നാന്തരം അവസ്ഥാവിശേഷം നമ്മുടെ നാട്ടിലും നാട്ടിലെ നീതിന്യായ വ്യവസ്ഥിതിയിലും ഉണ്ടാക്കി വെച്ചതിനു നമുക്ക് കുഞ്ഞാലിക്കുട്ടിയോടും അത്തരക്കാര്‍ അടങ്ങുന്ന മത-രാഷ്ട്രീയ നേതൃത്വത്തോടും നന്ദി പറയാം.

എങ്ങിനെ സംഭവിക്കുന്നു ഒരേ തരത്തിലുള്ള അവസ്ഥകള്‍ക്കും പ്രവര്‍ത്തികള്‍ക്കും വ്യത്യസ്തമായ മുഖങ്ങളും ഫലങ്ങളും?

മാപിനികളുടെ വ്യത്യാസമാവാം. 

ആയുധങ്ങളുടെ വ്യത്യാസമാവാം. 

അതല്ല, ഏറ്റുമുട്ടുന്ന കളരിയുടെയും പിച്ചിന്റെയും വ്യത്യാസമാവാം. 

അതുമല്ലെങ്കില്‍ വിധി നിശ്ചയിക്കുന്ന വിധികര്‍ത്താക്കളുടെയും നിയമങ്ങളുടെയും വ്യത്യാസമാവാം.

കുഞ്ഞാലിക്കുട്ടിക്ക് ആയുധം സ്വന്തത്തിന്റെയും സമൂഹത്തിന്റെ ബോധമില്ലായ്മ. 

കളരിയും പിച്ചും മാനദണ്ഡങ്ങളും ഇല്ലാത്ത രാഷ്ട്രീയം. 

വിധികര്‍ത്താക്കള്‍ തനിക്കൊത്തു തുള്ളുന്ന വലാട്ടിപ്പട്ടികള്‍. 

വാലാട്ടിപ്പട്ടികള്‍ കുരക്കുംപോലെ രൂപപ്പെടുന്ന നിയമം.

സ്ട്രൌസ്-കാന് ആയുധമില്ല. 

തനിക്കൊത്തു തുള്ളുന്ന വലാട്ടിപ്പട്ടികള്‍ വിധികര്‍ ത്താക്കളായില്ല . 

വാലാട്ടിപ്പട്ടികള്‍ കുരക്കുംപോലെ ഉണ്ടാവുന്ന നിയമങ്ങള്‍ ഇല്ല. 

ഉണ്ടെങ്കില്‍ ഉള്ളത് സ്വാതന്ത്ര്യബോധം ശരിയാംവണ്ണം ഉള്ള ഒരു സമൂഹത്തിന്റെ ശരിയായ ദിശയിലുള്ള നീതിബോധം. കളരിയും പിച്ചും ആ അമിധബോധം നിശ്ചയിക്കുന്നത്.

അതിനാല്‍ തന്നെ സ്ട്രൌസ്-കാന്‍, സ്വയം തെറ്റായി കാണാത്ത, അദ്ദേഹം ജീവിക്കുന്നതും ഇപ്പോള്‍ വിചാരണ ചെയ്യുന്നതുമായ സമൂഹം വലിയ തെറ്റായി കാണാത്ത ഒരു കാര്യത്തിന്റെ പേരില്‍ ആയിരുന്നാല്‍ പോലും, നിയമം നിയമത്തിന്റെ വഴിക്ക് നേരാംവണ്ണം പോകുമെന്നതിനാല്‍, പടിയിറങ്ങേണ്ടി വരുന്നു. 

അങ്ങിനെയോന്നുമാല്ലാത്തതിനാല്‍ കുഞ്ഞാലിക്കുട്ടിമാര്‍ക്ക് പടികയറാനും ആവുന്നു.

ഇതേ കാരണത്താലാണ് ലോകത്ത് സര്‍വ്വതും സംഭവിച്ചെന്നാലും, ഭൂലോകം തന്നെ കുലുങ്ങിയാലും വീഴാത്ത വല്ലാത്തൊരു കോണിപ്പടിയില്‍ കുഞ്ഞാലിക്കുട്ടിയെ മലപ്പുറത്തുകാര്‍ കൊണ്ടുവെച്ചു നിര്‍ത്തിയിരിക്കുന്നത്. 

അങ്ങിനെയാണ് മലപ്പുറം കേരളത്തിന്റെ മൊത്തം വിധി മാറ്റി എഴുതുന്ന ചിത്രവും, മലപ്പുറത്ത് കിട്ടുന്ന ഭൂരിപക്ഷം കേരളത്തില്‍ മൊത്തം കിട്ടുന്ന ഭൂരിപക്ഷത്തെക്കാള്‍ വലുതാവുന്ന ചിത്രവും തെളിയുന്നത്.

അങ്ങിനെ കേരളഭരണം ആര് നടത്തണമെന്ന് നിശ്ചയിക്കാന്‍ മലപ്പുറം മതിയാവുന്നത് ഒരു വിധി വൈപരീത്യം പോലെ നമ്മെ വേട്ടയാടുന്നത് ശിഷ്ടം. ബാക്കിയെല്ലാം നമുക്ക് വെറുതെ സങ്കല്പിക്കാന്‍ മാത്രം.

എന്നിരുന്നാലും, ഒരാശ്വാസത്തിന് : ഈ ചെറിയ കേരളത്തിലും ചിലത് സംഭവിച്ചു. 

കെ പി സി സി രാജ്മോഹന്‍ ഉണ്ണിത്താന് സീറ്റ് നിഷേധിച്ചു.

പക്ഷെ ലീഗ് ചിന്തിക്കുന്നത് അതല്ല. മച്ചിപ്പശു എന്തിനു ഗര്‍ഭധാരണത്തെ കുറിച്ചു അസ്വസ്ഥപ്പെടണം...!!!!???

The National Parties, like bankers, have in their mind,

It won’t reach heights without connecting itself
With the people underneath it.

But when it is in height,
Fore sure, it is in the heights
That the common man can’t touch
Or even think of.

National Parties, like INC and BJP, in India
Are India’s real fate deciders and drivers
As we perceive of them today.

To deny the national parties,
As the fate deciders and drivers of India,
To deny their existence, significance and role,

Is like denying India or the identity of India.

You may have difference of opinion.
But that your different opinion
Cannot deny or change the fact.

You may need to have a change to this fact and reality.
But, unless and until your such need
Works out to be another prevailing fact and reality
You have to compromise with the present day reality and fact.

You may or you can deny.
But, that shouldn’t be
To get away from Indian reality and polity.

You may have reasons to criticize
These national parties’ attitude, stand and policy
Towards each and everything in India
That you feel as core to Indian polity.

May you have your opinion that
These national parties are or have been
Less sincere and dedicated
Towards the real and haunting causes of
Suppressed and poor in India
And towards the feel and pride of India.

May you have an opinion that
The parties have become like big industries
Or sports clubs or business concerns,
Diversifying their interests and
Investing with all they have with a motive
Only to make double and triple of the same as their profit.

You may have an opinion that
None of these national parties are
Without involvement of criminals and guntas
And no party in India can grow beyond a level nationally
If they are not supported by,
Or if they are not in compromise friendly with,
The guntas, criminals and mafias.

You may have an opinion that there exist a lot of
Internal and external flaws, conflicts and fallacies
With these national parties, their talks and walks,
In their dealing with the Indian realities, and
In relation to making of their policy, ideology and goal
In addressing the real issues in front of them,
Especially when you perceive and analyze them,
From your single or individual or regional
Or racial or religious or linguistic point of view.

But, abstaining from these political reality
You won’t help any correction process.
Rather you will be supporting and encouraging them
To continue with all what they have as mistakes and fallacies

Denying them can’t correct them.
To correct them, rather be part of them,
And start your correction process
From within, than without.

Looking for substitute to these national parties
Have become, through out the history,
Another fallacy giving birth to many regional and partisan interests
Fully indulged and involved in corruption
And pressure politics of corruption and bargaining.

Each of such regional or individual centered parties
Have been doing only wrong influence on Indian polity, in totality.

It is a true fact,
The democracy as such is and has become very expensive.
Especially in a country like India,
With a population of higher poverty standard
And lesser awareness level.

Expensive because of unavoidable corruption
Perpetrated by the sole functionaries of Democracy.
The political parties and its leaders.

It is also a true fact that
No national party or regional party
Can function and mobilize itself nationally or regionally
Without the fund.

And none of them can amass such a big fund/wealth
To enable them to survive, function
And mobilize the people in their favor
Without being corrupt.

Corrupt leaders and party-men can do nothing
But submitting itself
To the pressure and undue influence
Of the donators of the fund/wealth to the parties.

The fund earned by any party can’t be
Other than the corrupt fund.

And what the parties will do in return
Can’t be other than let loose their hands of power,
Which ultimately will expand the horizon of corruption
To the unimaginable length and breadth.

That is why, you may see through out India
No genuine candidates, just because they are good,
Winning any election
Against such big parties and its candidates.

Because of the money power based campaigning capacity
That those candidates and their parties have earned
Through the very big horizon of corruption.

Corruption and funds earned by such corruption
Is the only strong point those parties
To fight all over India to further strengthen them up.

And the people, at the end will be made
To go for those who are, and who can be, in power
As per their analysis.

Especially when the majority of the people
In such democratic system
Are under-educated or uneducated
Or below poverty line
Or below below-poverty line.

DEMOCRACY A BURDEN AND LIABILITY

It is also a true fact that democracy has become
A burden and a liability
Than a convenient working system for the people of India.

Democracy has many inherent problems and limitations
Especially, when it is put in to function
In a very big country like India
With majority of people below poverty line
And under-educated or uneducated.

Also, in Democracy
People are asked to vote
Only open the door to the power
To any one before them
With no other option
Than to open (to close or to keep the doors closed)
Towards the candidates and parties,
Even if they happen to know for sure
That the fight for power is between
Two big evils, thieves or robbers.

Insecurity fear of the parties and its leaders
Of getting thrown out of power
Will make them, at least,
To be more corrupt while they are in power,
Or while they get chance,
To make their and their party’s fate
More secure and safe
When they are not, or when they will not be, in power.

Need of functioning their party machinery
In such a big country like India,
While in power and while not in power,
Will makes corruption
A necessary evil feature of democracy.

Especially when the whole electoral process itself is a very expensive
With no positive output for the welfare and wellbeing of the people.

Kings were the stories of the past.
The set rule of such past was
Once in throne, it was for all.

Hence, less expensive was their way to the power
And continuing with the power.
with no cost to the people
For election and other works of electoral process.

Power succession as well was done with no cost.

As kings’ position was for them for sure, under no threat,
They had never to be corrupt to accumulate and amass
In fear of their or their family’s or party’s insecure future.

They had also never to be corrupt
To accumulate and amass wealth
To function and mobilize their parties for elections
With any kind of campaigning and canvassing
To remain and to continue to be in power.

Only evil thing that, at the most,
Might have accompanied with kings could be
Their personal luxuries habit
Which in Democracy are replicated by,
Each and every member of assembly and parliament
And their party men under many pretext.

Corruption by parties
To enable them to function and remain as parties
Is understandable and unavoidable
In democracy.

Without such corruptions,
No party in a democratic system
Can make sure of its
Mere survival, existence and life,
As the main players
In the playground of democracy.

And no party in democratic system
Can be corrupt without involving in corruption
Each of its party leaders
Elected by the people through electoral process.

Each such leader or worker is only a party man
Asked to do corruption for and on behalf of such parties
And for pleasing the donators of the parties,
Wherefrom he will look for his own share
To secure and safeguard his unknown future
When get thrown out of the party or power.

This is the simple reason,
And simple give and take policy, of corruption

So, no party in a democratic system can claim
Clean and pure.

Since we have opted democracy
As a convenient and workable system
The corruption is and will be the blood
Running through the nerves of democracy
And the political parties involved in it
Helping the democracy and the parties survive.

In democracy
Justification and arguments by the parties
Are made because of their well set agenda.
Not otherwise.
No agendas are made by the parties
Because they have ideology or justification and feel for it.

So, seeking correction to the corruption
Can be done only educating the people
Of the grave mistake, limitations and weakness of democracy
And making them aware and conscious of the trap they are trapped in,
To react and protest against a corrupt system
That is eating up their own root and core like termites

And this reaction and protest has to take place
As per the rights they availed by the same system of Democracy.


That is how ANNA HAZARE movement against corruption is going on.
And there stays the significance of ANNA movement
Against corruption and corrupt India.

Given the size and depth of corruption in India
Given its rampant nature
in all corners of administration and governance
ANNA HAZARE movement is justified,

Meantime,
It is also a fact that such a movement can’t have much desired result.
For the same reason of given and depth of corruption.

This is the assurance by which and from which
Political parties get courage and strength
To play their game open and behind.

Also the very heavy size of India as a country
With its very heavy sized of illiterate and poverty ridden population
More courageous and strengthened
To face any kind of such agitation and protest.

For the simple reason that they know
That only they will the such a big amassed wealth
To mobilize and campaign length and breadth through out.

Democracy has been successful experiment
Only in very small countries
Like that of Scandinavian states.
Or in other European states.


Or even in USA, no one can claim
The democracy, administrating and governance
Are completely from the clutches
Big business and corporate boons.

But, still it has been more successful with less corruption
In USA and Europe
Just because people there are more educated and aware
And they are less poverty-ridden.

Here, for this reason,
We have to go back to the idea and vision
Given by our father of Nation
Mahatma Gandhi
Of having an India
Of self reliant villages
Called Grama Swaraj
Whereby
The role for central administration
And scope of corruption thereby
Will be much reduced.

Before yearning and looking for
Power to rule India,
Feel India and feel for India, and
Learn to dream of an India
That has to remain as India.

When yearning to be the rulers or pursuers of power,
Be it is of panchayat or state or the whole India,
You need to know that
You are not opting to live by yourself
Happy and luxurious,
But are taking up the responsibility to be a servant
To make sure every Indian in India
Lives happily, feeling luxury of their life in their soul.

For that,
"India" has to become your thought and passion.
India has to become your belief and faith
India has to become your dream and goal
India has to become your vision and ideology.

You can’t make India you thought and passion
Without knowing “India”,
You can’t start loving India
And.

You have to be able to walk the paths and memories of India
Like you walk the paths and memories of your love.

Or you need to put “India” in your mind
As your thought and passion,
Purposefully, exerting all your effort.

Like the people of religions
Give their purposeful efforts
To make their religion
Their thought and passion.

Being an Indian,
Your first and foremost priority should be
To make India your thought and passion.

To know that India,
Unlike any other country or nation,
And more than any other religion,
Deserves to be and can be
One’s religion as well as a nation
And one’s thought as well as a passion.

And being an Indian
You have to have the feel that
To know truth and reach your God,
You won’t need to go beyond India.

India by itself,
With its history, culture, deep rooted vision,
As open to all direction, without confining
God or truth to any specific direction or language,
Can satisfy any one’s national and religious pursuits
And quench his spiritual and physical thirsts.

Only from India, you can have all the answers
In relation to all your quests and queries.

Only in India, you can go to any direction
To seek and meet God.

Only in India you can see and seek
God and truth
In forms and formats.

Only in India, you can use any term of any language
To address and name your God.

No one will imposed here in India
With any particular rituals in any particular mode
As dictated by any.

Only India, as a nation,
Can accommodate all these diversities,
Like the mother does it by itself,
With no other example anywhere in this known world.

It will be to anyone’s wonder
To see India withstanding all the challenges and conflicts
By accommodating all diversities
Within its vast geographical and demographical boundaries
And within it big population of 1.2 billion.

It is easy to blame,
Without acknowledging this simple fact.

It is very difficult,
But very easy only to those who can understand
India as religion and as well as nation,
To lead all in India hand in hand.
