Why are they so afraid of religious conversion?

Especially when they are the overwhelming majority…

Especially when they themselves have held the government, power, police, army, and weapons for ages…

Why, even then, are they so afraid of religious conversion?

For no other reason.

Because they themselves strongly feel that their own faith isn’t good enough…

Because they themselves naturally feel that their own faith is baseless, and that anyone could abandon it at any time once they come to know the facts…

Because they themselves know that no one will be drawn to their faith out of genuine understanding and attraction — that no one would want to, or be able to, come over to it…

Because they themselves harbor a deep-seated inferiority complex, feeling that most other faiths and religions are, in every way, better than their own…

Isn’t religion — as a belief and an opinion — something that is meant to change?

Is there any religion, any belief or opinion, that does not change or transform according to each person’s growth?

Religion is not something one should merely receive and get trapped in just because one was born into it.

Religious belief and opinion are things that should be formed through knowing, learning, and choosing — and should keep changing.
