Why should children here study or even take exams?

“There’s no point in studying…”

This is the state of affairs in India.

What should children here study, and why should they study it?

Why should children here even take exams?

No matter what you study, no matter how many exams you write, no child in this country gets anything, there’s no escape.

All you get is disappointment, only depression.

Only surrendering by admitting you’re unworthy, surrendering and taking your own life.

Every student is forced to believe that the incompetence and failure of the system, the country, and the political leadership is their own personal incompetence and failure — and to despair over it.

The young student community turns into a society of the mentally ill on its own.

The political leadership, which knows only how to loot the country and turn people against each other in hatred, which has made lies and cruelty its only weapons and ideals, has no plan, no scheme, no answer for this.

All they know how to do is call anyone who questions them traitors, accuse them of being Pakistani or Chinese spies.

The fact is: no matter what or how much you study, nobody here gets anything, no one gets a job.

Even those who go around singing Vande Mataram and shouting (and making others shout) “Bharat Mata Ki Jai” are trying to settle abroad themselves, and are teaching and training their own children to somehow settle abroad.

That’s how desperate and opportunity-less this country’s situation has become.

When lakhs and crores of people apply, when lakhs and crores of people sit for exams, only a very small number actually get the job or the higher education they aimed for.

And even that, only if the ruling party members in their various forms haven’t already snatched it away for themselves.
