An anti-ethanol (anti-E20) struggle won’t achieve anything significant

The main struggle in India shouldn’t be against ethanol-blended E20.

An anti-ethanol (anti-E20) struggle won’t achieve anything significant or bring about real change.

That struggle also won’t get any global support.

The struggle needs to be against:

The Election Commission.

The ED (Enforcement Directorate).

The real struggle needs to be against these two real problems and threats that are corroding democracy itself.

Because E20 by itself is not a huge wrong, E20 alone is not a huge wrong.

Gadkari’s son’s massive profit (due to a clear-cut conflict of interest) and the loot that the BJP carries out through it are separate issues that need to be dealt with separately.

E20 and beyond has been implemented, or is being considered for implementation, in some form in many places around the world. There are reasons and justifications of its own for that.

The problem lies in the fact that implementing E20 brings no benefit to the people.

The problem is that implementing E20 only brings losses and difficulties to the people.

Blindly protesting against ethanol will drown out and cause a loss of seriousness toward the more dangerous real issues that are killing the country and democracy, diverting attention away from them.

Therefore, the real problem that needs to be identified and protested against is the Election Commission, which wins elections for the BJP alone through whatever manipulation is needed.

The struggle needs to be against the ED, which works only for the BJP, wiping out the opposition and reducing democracy itself to ashes.

A massive struggle needs to happen against the courts and Supreme Court judges, who render the entire populace helpless, hopeless, and mere bystanders.

The entrenched problem here is the Election Commission.

The disease that truly needs to be cured here is the ED, the courts, the CBI, and several other agencies.

As long as the Election Commission is not fought and defeated on the streets, no one can defeat the BJP through elections.

No matter how united everyone stands and votes against the BJP, the BJP will keep winning through the manipulations the Election Commission carries out whenever and however needed. People will be left stunned, silenced.

This same Election Commission will also carry out the illusion trick of occasionally letting the BJP lose somewhere, giving out that sweetness to keep people quiet.

Therefore, the fierce struggle should be against:

1. The Election Commission, which has crucified democracy,

2. The ED, which threatens those who question,

3. The courts, which have turned justice into a mere bystander.

Only after that, if needed, should one speak out and struggle against ethanol-blended E20 —

with the clear understanding that it’s not E20, not the implementation of E20 itself that’s the problem,

but with the understanding that it’s the manner in which E20 is being implemented that is the problem.

Because:

1. E20 is being implemented citing air pollution. But the process of producing E20 causes more air pollution than using petrol would, along with massive water depletion.

2. The vast majority of ordinary people’s older vehicles are not suited for E20. There is no remedial measure that accounts for the difficulties, vehicle damage, and losses this causes them.

3. Another problem that keeps arising: the price of E20 petrol doesn’t go down, isn’t being reduced.

4. Yet, using E20 reduces mileage for the entire consuming public.

5. The price doesn’t go down, but the mileage does. In effect, the price has been drastically increased.

6. Who will compensate for all these losses?

7. Beyond E20 itself, there’s no remedy for the losses caused by E20, and no proportional price reduction — so who will protest this, and how, and how will the struggle be carried out?
