It almost feels as though what Mohan Bhagwat did in America was to strategically and deceptively construct the idea and debate that “Muslims should leave India,” wrapping it in an ill-fitting veil of broadmindedness and a supposed universal humanism.
What Mohan Bhagwat spoke of as if it were great broadmindedness is, in fact, extreme narrowness.
No one quite understood what poison Mohan Bhagwat hissed out without actually hissing, what he said without actually saying.
Mohan Bhagwat’s new discussion, and the direction that discussion has taken, makes it seem as though the future of Muslims in India depends on the benevolence of Mohan Bhagwat and the RSS.
Whether Mohan Bhagwat accepts it or not, Indian Muslims are simply Indians.
Someone out there is dreaming of an India without Indian Muslims. In effect, what Mohan Bhagwat was saying without saying is that under the RSS, plans are being prepared, being readied, to drive out Indian Muslims.
Just as all Indians will naturally remain in India, Indian Muslims too will naturally remain in India.
Mohan Bhagwat does not need to persuade anyone for Indian Muslims to remain in India.
Mohan Bhagwat does not need to newly define what and who a “Hindu” is (while concealing the fact that there is, in reality, no such single religion called “Hinduism”) in order for Indian Muslims to remain in India.
Muslims do not need the permission of Mohan Bhagwat, the RSS, or the groups they control in order to continue living in India; there is no need to convince them of anything.
Muslims’ existence and continuation in India is not a favor granted by Mohan Bhagwat, the RSS, or their affiliated organizations.
Muslims’ existence and continuation in India does not depend on Mohan Bhagwat persuading his followers to allow Muslims to stay here.
Was what Mohan Bhagwat tried to convey — without saying it outright — that intense internal discussions are raging within their ranks about how Muslims should not be in India?
Mohan Bhagwat speaks of that discussion as though it were some great truth.
The very fact that such a matter is being discussed at all is something that should never happen.
What appears in Mohan Bhagwat’s deceptive speech is like an endorsement of that ongoing discussion, like a grand broadmindedness that grants a concession from it.
The ideas of “one humanity” and “one world” are things Islam and Communism have long since been asserting.
The fact that “one humanity” and “one world” feel like newly discovered concepts to Mohan Bhagwat and the RSS is because, all this while, they have remained confined within the caste discrimination, imprisonment, and oppression created by Brahminism.
It is because of the skin-flaying protests against the RSS in America that Mohan Bhagwat has been compelled to speak of broad humanity and one humanity — the very same broad humanity and one humanity that Islam has always firmly upheld and championed.
But now, as though newly discovering something momentous, behind the mask of “broad humanity” that Mohan Bhagwat and the RSS speak of, the RSS and its affiliated organizations are hiding, concealing, and trying to conceal their own falsehood — what can only be called pure hypocrisy, double standards, cruel entertainment, and hatred.
