13. Notes on nurses 

True, Nurses are the angels. 

Means, nurses are the Devas and Devis.

What does that mean? 

Angel means very positive, the ones who always work. Work work work only.

Angels means those are the ones who implement whatever is ordered. The real executives.

But same positivity of sheer execution has a negative side too. 

The negative side of becoming blind executives.

Angels by their nature don't question and don't have the right to critically evaluate and question. 

They never doubt and they never have the right to doubt and question their superiors (doctor's) orders. 

Hence, they are never proactive and creative. 

They don't behave intelligently, since they don't have to, by practice and profession too.

One or other way they don't behave or they are unable to behave responsibly. 

Why do I say so?

Because responsibility means one's ability to respond. 

If one cannot respond to whatever mistake they happen to see or if one cannot see the mistakes at all, hence cannot respond, they are irresponsible and irresponsive.

They mostly behave and implement mechanically with whatever the orders they get, as if a machine moving the way it is programmed to be as and when turned on.

Angels don't know if there is any space for doubting and questioning at all.

Angels are those who are loyal, sincere and dedicated, submitted and serving. 

But only like slaves. 

Slaves are not responsible. 

Responsibility comes with/from the freedom and free thought. 

Responsibility comes with the maturity that freedom gives or instill in anyone who is free.

Angel are very positive, always obeying the superior orders. 

Blindly obeying and copying the orders the way it is given, these angels also have a negative side.

Angels never apply their mind. 

Angels never reflect. 

Angels are the ones who have lost their mirror nature.

Angels never understand what is being implemented by them even when they implement it..

Angels never question and never become innovative by themselves because of their above nature.

This, what is being seen as a very good aspect of nurses for apparent sight and for those who see the affairs so outwardly, can cause big mistakes.

Whatever mistake the superiors might have done by their mistake or carelessness will be strictly followed and obeyed by these angels without knowing and looking into what it is and  what is what.

There lies the big responsibility on those superiors who give orders to these angels. 

The superiors (doctors ) have to be very careful and they have to have an eagle eye on these angels, always monitoring them. 

Personally I have noticed these angels with all their good intentions, dedication and sincere efforts doing and making big mistakes. 

To be good-willed and sincerely working is not a guarantee for not doing mistakes. 

In order to avoid mistakes one has to be really knowing and one has to be 360 degree alert, always critically viewing and questioning.

14. Examples of Mistakes from nurses.

There happened heavy vomiting and full body pain when a nurse pushed an injection heavily.

One other time a nurse was setting pre hydration to 25 ml per hour instead of 250 ml.

There happened many mistakes from the nurses of N3 wards, especially since they are not equipped with the expertise to handle the oncology patients.
